Rivet Funeral Home & Crematorium Inc. - Merrimack Obituary

Christopher Michael Chabot, beloved husband and cherished friend, passed away on March 8th, 2024. He is remembered as an outgoing personality that could bring people together and create long lasting memories.

Born July 17th, 1990, in Nashua, NH, Chris grew up in Hudson and then Nashua, NH.  As a kid he played baseball and participated in karate, among other sports. He would go on to serve in the Marine Corps from 2009-2012 where he worked as a cryptological linguist and learned the Korean language fluently. He married his wife Caitlyn Gaumond in 2012, and they celebrated their wedding with friends and family in September of 2016.

Throughout his life, Chris had many hobbies including bowling, board games, scuba diving and spending time with his dogs. An avid and lifelong gamer, Chris amassed a following of over 10,000 subscribers through streaming. Many of us hope to one day make money and build a community doing what we love, a goal he achieved and surpassed.

Chris is survived by his ever-loving wife Caitlyn, their canine companions Jake and Annie, his lifelong friends Jeff Tousignant, Craig Guilbeault, Alexis Muench, Michael Migneault, Alex Madsen, their families, and many other lifelong friends that, while they are not blood related are family nonetheless. He is also survived by his parents Michael Chabot and Jennifer (Ellenwood) Conley. His grandmother and caregiver Virginia Chabot passed away in 2008. Caitlyn and Chris’ beloved dog Carter also passed away a week before Chris.

Calling hours will be held at Rivet Funeral Home 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack on Friday, March 22nd from 4 – 7 PM.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Humane Society for Greater Nashua at 24 Ferry Rd, Nashua, NH 03064 or the Merrimack VFW Post 8641 at 282 Daniel Webster Hwy, Merrimack, NH 03054 in his memory.

Not sure what to say?

I was a member of Chris' online community. He was so accepting and inviting to each and every one of us and knew all of us on such an personal level. There is a huge hole in so many of our lives now.

I worked with Chris for a short time. We had many laughs and conversations through our shared cubicle wall. Prayers to the family, he will be missed.

I worked with Chris and fondly remember our chats about the culinary creations he made for his friends, his kindness, and our shared July birthday. My condolences to his family and friends.

I worked with Chris for about a year and I want him remembered as a caring soul who was always willing to help with a smile on his face. My condolences to the family, he will be missed. Prayers for the family.

Prayers for the family. Always in your hearts.

I'm so sorry for your loss

Offering our sincere condolences to Christopher’s family, and friends.
Paul & Pauline Piwarunas,

Cousin I am so very sorry for your loss, you are always in my thoughts and prayers, I love you.

Christopher will always be remembered in my heart as a playful young man. He spent alot of his young years with my children as he and his gram lived next door to us for quite some time. I'm thankful that he and his family became a part of my life.
