Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of your lost. GOD be with you all today and always. You are in my prayers. Chris will be truly missed.

Deepest sympathy is with Chris family during this difficult time, and warmest thoughts are with you always. I am thinking about you and wishing you peace and gently comfort.

It is with a great sadness when I heard about my dear friend Chris. Having known Chris since we were very young, he has been like a guardian angel for me. His spirit has always shown me what unconditional love meant for me, in my beautiful blue clear sky days or in my darker weeks and months, Chris was always there, not judging but reaching out a hand to lift me back to more beautiful days. His heart was so big and open, he was a gift from God that if we were lucky Chris touched us with...

Chris Clark was a talented, gentle giant. His vibrant work expressed his love of his faith, children, and life. I will always cherish his friendship. Gaynell Hendricks, Birmingham, Al

Chris and his creations always brought smiles. He was a sweet and charming man who made art that was happy and bright. It is sad for us that he has gone so soon. Everyone will miss him.

Our prayers for the Clark family. Chris came to our school, Paine Intermediate, several years ago and we really enjoyed his visit. One of his story quilts hangs in the front entrance of our school. Visitors to our school always gather around the quilt and want to know the story behind it. Chris was truly an artist from the heart......

I met Chris Clark at Atlanta's Black Arts Festival in 1994 where he was sharing the story of his wonderfully painted,"Sermon On The Mount", quilt.
I later became the proud owner of that quilt after a telephone conversation with him and his mother. It is treasured!!

My thoughts and prayers are extended to Chris' family.

Chris' artwork has brought joy to students in Hoover schools. We all love the colorful, happy rocking chairs and benches. Thanks to God for gifting Chris and for Chris' humble way of sharing his art with us all.

To the family of Chris Clark, our son-in-law
Our deepest sympathy
