Not sure what to say?

Chris was one of the first people I encountered in Austin. Rode in his cab from airport and talked hockey. He invited me to Northcross Mall and the hockey community. Always remember him with his smile and good natured attitude. I didn't know him outside the rink but reading messages about his love of dogs I can see it. Rest In Peace, Chris.

Chris, I just learned about your passing this morning. Im beyond words.. Had been trying to get ahold of you and was worried when I didn't hear back from you. You were my friend and brother in a friendship that spanned more than 30 years. Your love for dogs and music was unequaled. I will never forget the crazy times we spent together at hockey games, concerts, on the road, or at your place with the dogs. You were a good man and you lived your life on your own terms. Chris, I'm beyond words...just learned of your passing, was worried sick since I couldn't get a hold of you since January....you were my friend, brother and teammate. Our friendship spanned over 30 years together, and the love you had for dogs and music was unequaled.....Ill never forget the great times we had, the many conversations, the shows we seen together, and all of the road trips. You were a good man, you lived life on your own terms, and you will be dearly missed...Love you...

Chris you were always a champion to strays, people and dogs. You'll be missed. It's already alot more boring at A B I A!!! God speed my friend.

Chris was my friend for 12 years. I too am a cab driver . Chris and I had some ups and downs as friends but we ALWAYS ended upright. I miss him terribly and I can't believe he is gone. My heart aches for his pain that he was going through. I sorely miss our walk & talks. I pray that he is in peace now. My deepest and most sincere condolences to his family and friends.

Chris, or as I knew him "Slick" was such an interesting character. I had no idea of his many other passions as it has likely been 30 years or more since I last saw him. He was friends with a group of us that went to a few really fabulous concerts in Austin all those years ago. I'm so sorry to see this obituary for him. Gone too young. I extend my deepest condolences to his family and friends. Rest in peace Chris.

So much time has passed since we last saw
Each other.
My friend passed this on to me and I'm very saddened by the news.
You were the one who got me playing electric guitar and sold me my first electric. A Gibson les Paul and we were able to play together and even had a garage band -the snow cones-

You were a great inspiration to me and to all who knew you
My sympathies to his family

RIP Chris. You are missed!! May God Bless your Soul
