Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Chris passing. Chris was my son's coach back then, great guy,he made the whole team feel special and winners too. I was see him out from time to time and he always remembered us. He will be well remembered as a all out Great Guy. I know this late, but I'm just finding out. My condolences family.

As a fellow George Mason Forensics Alum, I echo Debbie Evans tribute. Chris was the Frank Sinatra of the GMU rat pack of forensic students who back then commuted to college. That he went on to law school and a sterling career as a defense lawyer is no surprise. Class act all the way. Condolences to Sheryl and his family.

I am greatly saddened to learn of Chris´ passing. My deepest sympathy to his family. We were on the George Mason forensics team together in those early days and Chris was a star. I will never forget his "Moby Dick" interp. What a powerhouse he was and he was admired by so many because of his talent, humor and personality. He was a class act and will be sorely missed by all his forensics family.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Chris was an AMAZING man, and so incredibly kind. He was one of my absolute favorite customers at Third St Diner, and we could spend hours talking. Throughout the years of my coming and goings from Richmond, I would run into Chris (and once needed his services!), and we would talk about life and baseball. This is a great loss. The world needs more souls like him. God Bless you all.

I met Chris when I was a waitress at Third Street Diner in 1991... Chris was a regular because his law office was next door. Everyone at the diner LOVED Chris. One time I was going to court for my car being towed for street cleaning. I ran into Chris who had a case that day- and he said, "what time is your case?" He offered to stand up with me and "defend" me.... The judge was like, "Chris, what the heck, you´re doing traffic court now?" Like joking with him. And I will never forget, ...

Chris and I shared a room in Richmond the night before the bar exam. We quizzed each other while sharing a bottle of Tanqueray Gin. The next morning the fire alarm awakened us both. We jumped out of our beds and, still in skivvies, ran into the hotel hallway - much to the amusement of the other hotel guests. Chagrined we returned to the room to discover the fire alarm was actually the wake up alarm. In any event, it worked and we both passed the bar exam!

We were in law school together at W&M , and we practiced law sharing his office . Chris was a friend and colleague . He was a standup guy and generous . My condolences to his family.
