My sincerest condolences to the Family, May the God who binds up the brokenhearted and comforts all who mourn sustain your family and friends during this sad and difficult time (Isaiah 61:1, 2 ) with heartfelt sympathy

With deepest sympathy, may the power of prayer ease your sorrow, give you peace and provide much comfort for you during this difficult time. Matthew 21:22

To the family. Put your faith and the days to come in the Lord's hands. My deepest sympathy to all of you. Thank you for serving our country. A great hero indeed.
Even though I don't know the family, it's very hard to deal with the loss of a loved one. And being in uniform with a job well done, it says a whole lot. Again you all are in prayers

To the Admiral; You were such a bright light, one which I had hoped to serve with again. When I was your Commo, you not only made my life easier, but so much more fun with your presence & enthusiasm. My condolences to those you leave behind. Fair winds and following seas shipmate! ❤

One of the best to ever do it!

One of the sweetest guys ever and I've nevet a more helpful person. His smile and presence lit up a room. I will miss the way he use to say Hi FC1 when he saw me. Heaven gained an angel. We have the watch friend. You will be missed oh so much.

IT2 Combs welcomed me with a big smile when I came aboard the USS Mahan. From then on there was never a dull moment. He brought joy and happiness everywhere he went and was always positive. He touched the lives of many sailors. He will be greatly missed.

IT2 Combs was always a bright face and showed amazing potential. His positive attitude always brightened the day of everyone around him. It truly was a honor and a privilege to serve with him, and I cannot express in words how sorry I am for your loss.
