Dear Compton Family,
I am so sad to hear of my High School friend Chris passing. Chris and many of the the guys would be together during the ( 1960's ).
We would just enjoy crazy conversations in the hallways of McClatchy between classes ,lunches or after school talks while standing on the steps outside the school while getting ready to head home.
He was "wonderful" and always had a "smile" on his face. It is a funny thing to me... I never had any friends later on in my life...

Oh my gosh. It seems like Chris had just come by a few weeks ago because my yard was looking unkempt and he came to the door concerned that 'it wasn't working for me' his polite way of saying that my son's yard work abilities were lacking. He offered me the Monarch Landscape business card and I was looking forward to seeing him weekly starting the beginning of the new year.
