Not sure what to say?

I was so sad to hear of Dr Corey's sudden passing. I had Covid during the holidays and was unable to attend services. I worked with Chris for 35 years in the Operating Room both at teh Goddard and Good Samaritan. Being on the evening shift , and as the circulating nurse for his case, I often called Suzanne to let her Chris was either coming within an hour or not til late. He was well liked by staff and patients and loved to tell jokes. He would warn me if they were not PG and I would...

Thank you for all you done Christopher My condolences to his family and his kids

Chris (Wendel) and I were room mates for two years at Holy Cross. He was the hardest working student I have ever known. He was a great and loyal friend and he was , even back then, absolutely devoted to Suzy. This is a truly sad event for all who knew him and for the entire medical community. Great men don't come around very often. It's tragic to see one go. With Great Sadness, Larry Jenkins

So sorry to hear of Chris´ death. My deepest sympathies to his family. Chris was a friend of mine while we were at Holy Cross together and we both ended up specializing in vascular surgery. I also looked forward to seeing Chris at regional and national vascular meetings, catching up and solving all the world´s problems together. Wonderful, thoughtful and sensitive guy. Will be missed. Gene Sullivan

Chris was a classmate of mine at The College of the Holy Cross. We were great friends and studied and talked on a regular basis. He was an excellent student and a great friend. He always had great advice. I did not get into medical school the year we applied. I had a bad car accident and became paraplegic. He visited me and told me not to give, to keep trying. I was eventually accepted at Georgetown , where Chris was a med student. Chris was truly one of the kindest and nicest person I ever...

I go back to another generation to Chris's parents Ane and Dick Corey. They were the American dream Anne a bright competant sucessful person and Dick a hard working dedicated postal worker. Their son Chris was the joy of their life. That he cared for so many would be their dream and those of us who knew their family early so appreciate all the Coreys have done. Mary Egan Boland

We can read all the comments knowing that Chris got those essential skills to become an outstanding physician from his parents. Anne and Dick were warm, bright and fun individuals who were so proud of Chris and his family. Anne was my father's office manager and when my sister Mary, my brother Dick and I joined the law firm, she took us under her wing and never let us down. A great woman, a great person and
a very proud mother and grandmother.
Chris and his family were everything...

This news is so hard to hear. Dr Corey was truly a kind, genuinely great person & amazing physician. My fond memories of Dr Corey is anytime he had a busy day ahead, ge would call me in admitting & verify where his post op patients were & wouldn't rush to get off the phone. He would make a point to ask how everything was with me,work etc .. and briefly talk about life events we can all relate to. Then when I was leaving I would see him getting several orders of coffees. He would tell me he...

Dr. Corey was my favorite customer at Honey Dew. It was a running joke between my co-workers that my "bestie" was here whenever he would arrive for his daily cold brew. All of the staff there loved him. He was kind, compassionate and beyond caring. I valued any and all of his conversations, or insight he could provide toward a career as a physician. Whenever he came in, it was the highlight of my shift. I, along with all of the Honey Dew staff, will miss him! May he rest in peace.
