Not sure what to say?

Just heard on WIS TV that Chris died last month. I attended Irmo and USC with Chris and I always thought he was the nicest guy. I was touched that Irmo retired his Jersey last night. Beth Havird- Lexington, SC

Chris was a warm and fun loving person, whos' bear hugs and bright smile will be greatly missed and i feel bless to have had him as dear friend, see you later BIG guy and keep smiling down on us.Ms.Diana Gaddis

Chris was a classmate of mine in middle & high school. Chris was always very protective of his friends, especially the girls. He always had a smile and huge hug for everyone. My thoughts and prayers go out to Chris' family. Rest in peace Chris.

Our condolences to the family. Chris was always such a pleasant, smiling friend to every one he met. The world was a better place because of Chris. Our son, Scott Singley, played baseball with him at St Andrews Park and at Irmo. They are both in heaven looking down on us now. Earl Singley & family.

Our family hearts were sadden when we heard of Chris passing. He would brighten up the day with his smile; and He always stopped and talked with us at church. Just a little poem that was shared with us when mom passed.

Miss me, but let me go
When I come to the end of the road
And the sun has set for me
I want no rites in a gloom filled room
Why cry for a soul set free

Miss me a little - but not too long
And not with your head...

Chris was a classmate of mine in middle & high school. He always had a smile and a hug for everyone. He will be missed by everyone. Rest in peace Chris. We all have a smiling angel looking out for us!!!

What moves through us is a silence, a quiet sadness, a longing for one more day, one more word, one more touch, we may not understand why you left this earth so soon, or why you left before we were ready to say good-bye, but little by little, we begin to remember not just that you died, but that you lived. And that your life gave us memories too beautiful to forget & your smile lives on in all of us,Our prayers are with you family and loved ones-

Chris would light up a room with his bright smile and warm heart. He was a true 'gentle giant' and could give the best hugs. I can still hear him calling me 'Twiddle Dee' while we were at IHS. I was heartbroken to hear of his passing but know God has a special angel. My prayers are with Chris' family.

I just found out today that Corley passed away...I use to work with Corley @ Columbia Care Center and from the memories I remember he reliving me on my post and always smiling asking how was my day, and how was I doing. One thing that I remember and I know everyone else does is the that Smile. He was always smiling and it was so contagious. He will truly be missed and my heart and prayers go out to his family! He is resting now.....God Bless! **K.Goodwin-Giles**
