Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear of Chris's passing. I love that man and for everything he stood for. I worked with him to introduce inner city youth to boat building on the lawn of the Old State House, along with John Gardener. I saw him to my surprise admiring our Boathouse here is Hartford in early November. I hadn't seen him in 18 years. My heart is broken and my thoughts and prayers are with the entire family. Thanks Dear Friend for everything!

Dear Marie, Will and Molly, I was saddened to hear of Chris' passing. I knew Chris from Mystic Seaport when I worked in the membership office. He always had a smile and was such a vibrant person. I remember quite a few Christmas parties at your lovely home and Chris always made everyone feel welcome. My deepest condolences to you all. May God bring you peace. Sharon Geer

Such a loss. He was a wonderful man, always with a smile. My heart goes out to his wife Marie, I know what she is feeling and I am so very sorry for her loss.
I wish you peace.

I worked with Chris for many years at Mystic Seaport and every time I saw him, my first thought was " wonder what he's up to now" and he was always up to something. Working on his current project, planning his next project or dreaming his next dream along with his usual bit of harmless mischief always bringing a smile just because he was Chris. So very sorry for your loss.

Marie, Will and Molly,
Chris was a wonderful man, with such an engaging personality - and an interest in so many people, as well as many different subjects. It was a privilege to have gotten to know him, and our paths always seemed to cross most often at the waters' edge, where I will most remember him. God's blessings and peace be with you and your family.

To 55 years of friendship, fun, and love. You will remain with us always. "Good evening, Camden Marine clear...."

Chris was a wonderful friend, counselor and mentor to me at Cape Elizabeth High School. He even kept in touch for a while when I was in college. I would have loved to stayed connected with him. I'm so sorry for your loss, and hope you can find some healing and joy in knowing how many lives he touched and guided just during his years in Cape Elizabeth alone. With warm sympathy.
