Not sure what to say?

I'm only hearing this sad news now, but add my voice to others who said he was a great guy and editor, among other things. I will try to get to the service. Geez. Only the good die young.

Rest in Peace my sweet cousin. I haven't been in contact with Chris for more than 30 years, but as a young girl he left an impression on my heart and accepted me as I am. Coming from divorced parents, as so many others, being raised by my mother, I always felt like an outsider with my fathers' side of the family. Chris never made me feel that way. Even as a child, and then a young adult, he was a caring and loving soul who went out of his way to include me and make me feel welcome in a...

It is hard to believe that Chris is gone from us. He had a great spirit, with a smile and laugh to match. Thank you Chris for keeping our Family Reunions together. I life taken far too soon.

So sorry to see this sad news. Chris was always a good time waiting to happen. He will be sorely missed.

I met Chris and his friends on the ramp at the Vet at half time of many Eagles games. He was always fun to be around even when the Eagles were losing. Sorry to hear of his passing.

The first time I met Chris was in Veterans Stadium parking lot in 1980, and he and his brother Joe spent the entire tailgate berating me for wearing a Phillies cap to an Eagles game. Somehow Chris made this abuse seem OK, even though we had just met.
We went on to become friends and he helped my career in more ways than I could ever mention or repay. If you couldn't like and appreciate Chris D'Amico, you don't have the capacity to like or appreciate anyone.
RIP Chris, and condolences...

My heartfelt sympathy to the family on the passing of your love one please accept my heartfelt sympathy for your loss.

I worked with Chris in New York at The National Sports Daily. I knew him as a skilled editor and a terrific personality. He always had something friendly and funny to say -- along with a great smile and big laugh. It's hard to picture him ill. Sincere condolences to his family.

My smart, funny, handsome cousin Chris will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. Especially in his official role as "secretary" for our annual family reunions, where he kept us all connected, informed and In-line with his comical emails. Ah Christopher, your wings were ready, our hearts were not. Until we meet again at our ultimate family reunion, rest in sweet peace.
Love always,
