I extend my deepest condolences to Chris' family and friends. I am still in shock as I write this. Chris was the best dance teacher I ever had and his talents and friendship will truly be missed by all. God bless.

I hadn't seen Chris in over 30 years, since we did the Norwegian folk dancing together in the seventies. Nonetheless, I can still see his big smile, and remember how much fun he was to practice with--someone who really made sure we had a good time. I was astounded and saddened when I heard what had happened. What a terrible loss--my sincere condolences to his family.

Dear Wendy and the Diez Family,

This is difficult to write because 1. I have not seen Chris in over 25 years and 2. I'm stunned by the news. Wendy you are the strongest woman I have ever read about. I only knew Chris for a short time many years ago. I don't have to tell you how wonderful Chris was but I just wanted you and his family to know that after 25+ years I will never forget how Chris took a bunch of young adults and created a theater group called the Generic Theater Company...

Our condolences to Chris' family. I was privileged to perform opposite him in Ruddigore (2001) with Savoy-Aires. He was a lovely, talented, funny actor and singer. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him!
