To Logan and the Dolen family:
I may not know you, but I want to extend my sincere sympathies on the loss of such a young person. At 25, I feel he had a bunch of life left in him, plus with his young son.
I know that he will be missed by all who know him, but I do wish the best for Logan on the loss of his father.
Much peace to you all.
Sincere,
Dena

To Bill, Louise and the rest of the Dolen clan,
We are deeply sorry for your (our) loss. Chris belonged to our large extended family, the kind we get to choose instead of being born with. How lucky we are to have had him in our lives.
We miss him dearly, but he'll always be with us.
Love,
Ray, Mary, Mike, Jodi, Bridget & Sean

Dear Bill and Louise,
You have been in my thoughts and prayers for a long time now. My heart aches for both of you and for Chris.
Christopher,
I will remember your crazy hair, bouncing while you walked and sticking up all over when you got out of bed.
I will remember how you twisted your mouth when you knew that I was being silly with you.
I will remember the warmth in your eyes and smile.
I will remember how silly you were when you were little. ...

Over the years we became brothers, and freinds. You seldom said no when I asked for your help regardless what it was, although I had to stock up on food, like any good brother you could eat me out of house and home when you would visit. Sometimes we fought like brothers but when the chips were down I always...

Bill, Louise and Family,
Please accept the heartfelt condolences of my entire family. Bill and Louise, when the time is right, please feel free to contact me. As you know Mary Ann and I lost our youngest son, Dane, 23, just over a year ago. It is a very difficult road we are going down. Time does heal slowly. Rely on God, your faith and the love of your family and friends.
