Not sure what to say?

Chris would come through the drive thru at my place of work. Our friendship started to bloom early last year. I would call him every now and then to check in on him and to make sure that he was doing okay. He told me some really great stories over these last couple of months. He would tell me about how proud he was of his son and how excited he was to see his future unfold. I was only a small part of his life but he was my absolute favorite customer that I have waited on while working here. I...

chris was the nicest most precious doctors that i know.He never changed always had asmile and hug always told me he loved me. and i loved him dearly/i knew him when he was a resident

Chris was one of my teachers in Medical School. He was a GREAT guy. I loved rotating with Chris, the days were long and the work was hard but Chris always had a smile on his face and we had fun while we learned. Chris cared deeply about others. His passing makes me sad. I will always love Dr. Chris Downs.

Dr Downs was a wonderful Doctor, person, friend. He always had a smile for staff at JCMC when I worked. He later became a patient of mine. Even then he had a smile. He will be missed.

A person who treated his patients with respect and dignity. Everyone he met was a friend. He was a magnificent cardiologist. I always enjoyed working with him at the Medical Center. He is surly going to be miss. He took wonderful care of my family. Rest now and enjoy the peace you deserve.

A wonderful physician and person. I will always remember his kindness to my mother. She was one of his biggest fans. She eventually had to be in a nursing home and he made a tape of his band singing Happy Birthday to her and mailed it to me.
