Not sure what to say?

It is hard to believe it's been 10 years since Chris passed. I wanted to take a moment to honor his memory. He was such a kind and dedicated soul, if he were with us today, he would be an incredible doctor helping patients through this pandemic. I find comfort in knowing he is in a better place watching over his friends and family. Chris, you are missed!

Dear Cindy and Lloyd,
Our deepest sympathy in the passing of your son Chris. Although we have never met, its' always very painful to learn of the loss of a bright, loving, young physician as your son. What a handsome guy, inside and out.Our hearts and prayers are with you and may you feel the strength of the Lord in your life every day. Chris would want that.
Sincerely, Erin and Steve Mayfield

Our sincere condolences for your loss. May his spirit live on to encourage others to follow in his path.

When I met Chris, we were young teenagers on the edge of becoming adults. I was lucky enough to know a lot of different sides of a wonderful young man. I loved him deeply and passionately, the greatest thing I could have ever learned from someone. My favorite memories of him are the smallest details and the quietest moments with him. I was so happy to see where his life had taken him and I am devastated he is gone so fast.

Chris and I were excellent friends prior to and during his service in the military. I worked with him at Subway in Lawrence, KS. He was the one who got me to join the military and turn my life around. He will be deeply missed on my part. I feel honored to have known him and will be forever grateful for the time that we did spend together. I regret losing touch with him over the years and wish his family the best.

When Chris came to Colorado Springs from Hawaii, he had two roommates, Nathan and Robbie. We both clearly heard God's voice and realized our blessing was to express and show God's love to him. He was such a blessing to us by way of example. He would entertain us, with many of his exciting ventures he had, both here and abroad. His diligence about getting into medical school, was fiery and unrelenting.

So much so, that one evening we had a pretty deep and fun conversation about...

Christo Sancto! Christopher reflecting God's light

As silly as this sounds, I met Chris when I bought a desk from him off of craigslist. Within that first phone conversation we had about when and where to pick up the desk, I could tell that Chris was a fun, kind, reliable, respectable man.

Chris was the biggest dork I have ever met and I loved him for that. He and I would be the only adults in line to ride the balloon slide at a carnival. We would constantly have snow ball fights, shaving cream fights, whoopee cushion fights,...

I was Christopher's boss when he worked for Interim HomeStyle in Colorado Springs. You could always depend on Chris, whether it be for a laugh, a prayer with you, or just to put a smile on your face. He was very dedicated to his clients that he cared for, and will be missed by many here in the Springs. May he rest and peace and know that he will always be in our thoughts and prayers. With deepest sympathy to his whole family. My prayers are with you. We lost a great young man. He's in God's...
