I worked with Chris at Trudy's and hung out with him in the early '90s and remember him very well, one of the most likable and laid-back guys I've ever met. Ran into him years later deep in the crowd at the NOLA Jazz Fest and he was clearly loving the music and life. I'll remember him that way. Best wishes to his family.
