To the family and friends of Staff Sgt. Christopher Eckard:
Always remembering Christopher. "Some gave all."

Remembering Chris during the Christmas Season 2012.

February 20, 2012
To the family and friends of Staff Sgt. Christopher Eckard:
Please accept my remembrance of Christopher on the anniversary of his passing and know that he will never be forgotten.

Our church had a service this Memorial Day to honor those who had paid the ultimate sacrifice for our country, and they had a basket with names of fallen soldiers for the congregation to draw, and asked that we pray for their families. I drew the name Marine Gunnery Sgt. Christopher W. Eckard. Tears filled my eyes as I prayed for the family, and I give my sincere offer of gratitude for his sacrifice to keep me and my country free. May God richly bless you all.

To the Eckard family:
May the comfort from family and friends continue to strengthen you, and may you find comfort in the words found in the Holy Scriptures: "And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away."

Your legacy will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew you and shared in your struggle to protect our country and the ultimate sacrifice you gave so that we can be grateful for what we have. Your family, friends, loved ones and fellow soldiers will stay in my thoughts and prayers.
A Proud Military Mom.
