I didn't know Chris very well, but interacted with him via email and at several Internet Archive conferences he attended where we served on some committees together. I was always impressed by Chris as an intelligent, kind, nice person and a great partner in our digitization projects. He was always a pleasure to deal with. I'm sure I can speak for all of us at the Internet Archive, that we are all saddened to hear of this loss. Our condolences to all his family and friends!
