Christopher Fox Obituary
1987-2017
Christopher Clinton Fox, a true angel, passed away on the 22nd of February 2017. He was born on the 12th of October 1987, in Houston, Texas. Self-proclaimed to be named after Christopher Columbus, he was an explorer of ideas, experiences, and relationships. From a young age, he had many passions: sailing with his mom and dad, playing basketball with friends and cousins, cheering on the Rockets, and spending time with his Yiayia and Papou. He attended Annunciation Orthodox School through 8th grade and graduated from Episcopal High School in 2006. He went on to receive his Bachelor of Science from Hampden-Sydney College in 2010 and studied abroad in Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands. As a young adult, Christopher's passions continued to flourish. He had an impeccable sense of style, which he put to work at Sid Mashburn. He loved all music and had a deep appreciation for art, having his first exposure through the beautiful works of his mother. With his unique ability to connect and empathize with others, Christopher's compassion knew no bounds. He is survived by his loving parents, Stephanie and Clinton Fox; on his paternal side, his great uncle, Robert Serafin; aunts and uncles, Elaine and Bob Bartlett, William Sanders Fox; on his maternal side, his great aunt, Eugenia Barunes; aunts and uncles, Sultana Kaldis, Alexandra and George Tyson, Constantine Kaldis, Barbara and Tim Cherry, Dorothy and Michael Kaldis, Catherine and Andrew Kaldis; many loving cousins; and, his beloved dog, Renney.
Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o'clock until eight o'clock in the evening on Wednesday, the 1st of March 2017, in the library and grand foyer of Geo. H. Lewis & Sons, 1010 Bering Drive in Houston.
Funeral Service will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 2nd of March 2017, at St. Martin's Episcopal Church, 717 Sage Road in Houston, where the Rev. Dr. Russell J. Levenson, Jr., Rector and the Rev. Martin J. Bastian, Vice-Rector are to officiate.
Immediately following all are invited to greet the family during reception in the adjacent Bagby Hall.
Memorial contributions may be made to Annunciation Orthodox School or Open Door Mission.

Dear Stephanie & Clinton,
Heather and I were so sorry to hear of the passing of your son. Seeing his picture in the paper brought back memories from many, many years ago because Christopher looked just like how we remember you, Clinton. We were at dinner with a friend last night who knew Christopher from Sid Mashburn. He told us what a warm and engaging person he was. As parents we can't even imagine how difficult this must be - our hearts go out to you. You are in our prayers.

Chris, well known as Fox, was a fraternity brother that quite frankly I was lucky to have met. In fact, I know it's safe to say that anyone who met Fox feels the same way. Fox had a magnetic presence that was unmatched, just like his dance moves. Fox was genuine, didn't have the word stranger in his vocabulary, and kind. Fox departed far too soon, but his impact will always be remembered. Please know that Fox will always be in his fraternity brothers hearts and our thoughts are with his family during this difficult time.

Fox, as we called him, was a fraternity brother to both my sons. During their time at HSC, we were fortunate to spend a lot of time with all their friends. He was especially kind to my younger son as they shared many interests. We will cherish all our memories and I know all his 'brothers' will gain strength and comfort from their wonderful years together. Our hearts go out to his family and friends in Texas. Chris, or Fox as I and his fellow fraternity brothers referred to him, was a friend, a brother, and a true inspiration. The images of his flashing smile and the memories of his open heart will forever remain as the lasting images of Chris in my mind. Chris sincerely and deeply cared about the people that surrounded him, constantly empathizing with others. To say that Chris's interactions with others impacted me on deep level is an understatement. I am deeply saddened to hear of the departure of such a wonderful, charismatic soul, and I will forever keep Chris's memory alive.

I am deeply saddened to hear the news about Chris's passing. I knew Chris through mutual friends growing up in Houston. Chris was incredibly welcoming and a great person to be around. I will remember him as a friendly, adventurous, guy with a great sense of humor. His kindness made him easy to gravitate to, and he was always surrounded by dozens of friends. He was always so full of fun, and he brightened many days for me and for all his classmates. I will forever remember his smile, graciousness, and warmth. He was always the nice guy, the one that everyone was friends with, because he was easy to be friends with. As part of the Kaldis family, who I grew up very close to, he was very much like part of our family, especially being such good friends with Maggie. I remember her talking of him often, and the fun times they had together, as way back as A.O.S. His memory rests in my heart and in all of our hearts and will do so forever.
