Chief Warrant Officer Christopher G. Nason was a superb leader who was an expert linguist and able to accomplish any mission given him, said his battalion commander, Lt. Col. Mark Costello. Nason, a member of the 306th Military Intelligence Battalion, excelled in highly stressful environments, Costello said. The 39-year-old from Los Angeles was killed Nov. 23 when his vehicle was struck by a civilian tanker truck in northern Iraq. He was based at Fort Huachuca. Nason was in charge of the unmanned aerial vehicle section of the New Systems Training and Integration Office. He is survived by a sister.

Not sure what to say?

Gone far Cousin, but never forgotten. G.

Chris, my cousin my friend. Thinking about our greatest times as kids... I see the scars I got under my armpit when we were racing bikes around the backyard planter at your Van Nuys house. so long ago...I remember when unkle and auntie were so amazed that I didn't ever cry even at the hospital. ..Yet today the tears flow as I realize the pain of the many different people and Brave Soldiers that have so many scars from war. A great loss to every American, your sister and our family. I'm...

We just visited you, Auntie Rose and your mother may you all rest in peace.
Love 4 ever

Thank you Chris for hosting my wife and I when we arrived at our first overseas duty station at Iraklion Air Station Crete Greece. You took it upon yourself to make us feel welcome and you even stocked up our fridge at the hotel. You will always be remembered.

Chris, I still hold your cell number in my phone and think of you constantly. Missy Ava will miss the warm hugs she would of received from you as a wonderful Uncle. I cherish the Universal Studios pictures we have of you and her a few days before your last deployment....MISS YOU 4ever......Debra/Dre'/Ava

In Memory of Christopher ~ (Debra Estep)

Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers.

The Wind on The Downs

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you...

To the family of CWO2 Christopher G. Nason:
Christopher gave the ultimate sacrifice and will be held in the hearts of Americans forever. I cannot and will not let our fallen heroes be forgotten. My deepest sympathy to you. "Some gave all."
