Not sure what to say?

Writing in the memory of Chris today. He was one of my Marines while he assigned at Camp Fuji, Japan. Chris was always full of life and spirit. I will never forget his smile. He loved life and lived it to the fullest! Semper fidelis Brother, I'll see you on the other side.

To CPL. Christopher Scherer Family, Thinking of you and your family this Memorial Day weekend. Received a message of the 8th Annual Scherer Run being held this weekend. So glad our soldiers are remembered by these events. Nothing can replace the empty chairs at our tables. Their lives being remembered by all is all we have and most precious. Sharing in your loss. God Bless You.

Today became the first day of what will become a yearly tradition as today I DID THE GRID! God bless you and I am so grateful to have been a part of this. The memory of your son nor any fallen soldier, their ultimate sacrifice was not in vain. Jan

Dear Family of Cpl. Christopher G Scherer. As everyone celebrates this Memorial Day holiday with their family and loved ones. There are a group of us families that celebrate with empty chairs at our tables. Chairs once occupied by our soldiers. Chairs now empty as they paid the ultimate sacrifice. Sharing in your loss. I did not know Christopher personally but I know he was a wonderful man. In my inbox I received a message from a runner in the 7th Annual Cpl. Christopher G. Scherer...
