Not sure what to say?

I just heard of Chris´s passing and with a heavy heart I express my heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. I coached Chris on the Holy Cross Varsity Crew. He was an exceptional rower and a phenomenal human being. I always loved his intensity and willingness to push himself but even greater was his ability to bring his teammates together for a word of encouragement or a good laugh. The "You Tube" tribute video so perfectly captured the person I knew and admired. Rest In Peace Chris....

I always admired Chris. I met him my first week at Holy Cross, and joined the crew team due 100% to his charisma. I loved when our paths crossed every few years after graduation, and I always loved hearing what great new thing he was doing. A free spirit in the best way, and an example of good living. In the last year, we relied on his DJ live-streams to get us through some rough times. All my love to his family and close friends. What a loss.

Some of my fondest memories from on Mt. Saint James are of jamming on guitar and bass with this 'deep cat'. To spend any time with him was to respect, appreciate and love his spirit and vibe. I'd always looked forward to reconnecting with this brother...my condolences and hugs to all loved ones of this beautiful soul.

Oh Chris-you always seem to be king of an Irish goodbye or no nonsense exit. You were the best and one of my favorite guys.

Lots of love -Suzanne

My love to Kristine and Kennedy also anyone who knew the Magic of Chris Garrity, Someone great is gone.

My friend Chris died the other day. Chris was never the life of the party, but he most certainly was the pulse. He was the kind of person who had a magic carnival ride of a life, and I felt lucky enough to have a ticket - even if for just for a short while. We had a sort of kindred spirit connection to Philadelphia that accelerated our bond – Philly, a city that has good parts that are bad and bad parts that are good – but Chris knew the difference and embraced both. Never one to have any...

I will miss Chris and wish I had been able to see him one more time. My thoughts and prayers are with the Garrity and Hicks families. Not a day goes by that I don't recall fondly the awesome Strathmere memories that we all shared together. Chris, I'll see you in the next life brother.

Chris was a classmate at the Prep. Always remember him as having a smile and was full of positive energy. My condolences to his family and friends. May God grant him eternal rest.
