Not sure what to say?

I loved my dear friend, who Id known for much of my life. He was always kind to my family and an honest, patient, humble spirit. An inventor, driven by an investigative spirit, he always was tinkering with something, fixing whatever was broken, exploring how mechanical devices worked. He even made strides to gain competency with computers. I am sadden by his loss, but ever so grateful for God bringing him into my life. I think of him most days these past two years and yet am greeted by his...

The staff at Kelly Services - Syracuse NY, wish to express our deepest condolences to The Gate's family. He was a gentleman and a true professional as we placed him on multiple assignments. He will be missed......

Chris helped us at the Manlius Library - he donated his time and expertise so that we could fix a special countertop in the teen room.
He was so nice, smart and interesting. He had a great personality- somehow both very remarkable and calm at the same time- and it was a treat to talk to him. It's hard to believe he won't be back.

I always enjoyed being around Chris even though he was a few years older than me. He always treated me with respect and kindness. I will always remember the speed boat he built by hand and rode around at the 1000 Islands. I also was impressed with his Solar Frog Fountain and his other inventions.
Needless to say I was shocked when I heard about his passing. He will always be fondly remembered in my heart.
My condolences to the entire Gates Family.

Don Brown & Family

Chris was my chemistry partner when he spent his junior year at Chittenango High School. Needless to say, Chris kept things interesting and fun! We also shared the stories of the friendship that our two grandfathers shared. My sympathy to his family.

I know Chris all my life. He was a great kid and a compassionate adult. RIP
