Not sure what to say?

Chris was a wonderful friend. I met Chris and his beautiful wife, Patricia decades ago and we became good friends ever since. He was a generous soul, always willing to help a worthwhile cause, and his talent as a musician was unparalleled. I will forever miss his kindness, empathy, humility, and love of life.

Chris once served as organist at my church and became a good friend. I remember meeting his little boy Andre when I played Santa Claus at his preschool, and Chris was there with his infectious smile. Though we never met, I so admired Chris's talent and loved listenening to him at The Carlyle on several occasions. I will truly miss his talent.

Chris was both ethereal and down-to-earth at once. He radiated joy and possibility. He lit up the room like no other and made us feel we were part of something specialwhich, of course, we were. We first saw Chris at Bemelmans in 2002 and kept on going back to see him until 2017. What a beautiful gift to the world he was. x o x Gil & Laura
