Christopher Ryan Gresham, of Richmond, Virginia, son of Reverends James L. Sr. and Beatrice Gresham, died on Sunday, September 2, 2001. Lying in state at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 East Brookland Park Boulevard, Richmond. Lying in state on Friday, September 7, 2001, 11 a.m. to noon, at Blessed Hope Baptist Church, 2311 Ford Avenue, Richmond. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, noon, at the church, officiated by the Rev. Fred Hannah. Interment will be at St. Luke Baptist Church Cemetery, Plum Point, Virginia. Arrangements entrusted to Scott's Funeral Home, Richmond, Virginia.
Chris, we were not best friends, but we were good friends. You always made me laugh and I will miss you. Until we meet again...

To Dee Dee and the family of Chris. I met Chris only once and he seemed to be a very nice young man. I'm so sorry that your family lost a son and brother.
