Not sure what to say?

Chris and I were in a fraternity together at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. We hadn't spoken in over thirty years, but I felt a very keen sense of loss when I received the news of his passing. Chris was a thoughtful and quiet friend, not at all like a stereotypical frat-boy. He was a phenomenon on the dance floor, spinning and twisting. And always wearing a fedora that matched his suit!

When he graduated, knowing that I was hitchhiking to campus every day, he made a...

I was a friend of Chris in college. He was a super guy. We were pretty good friends and enjoyed good times and great conversations. He was a true intellectual and all around wonderful human. He had this pretty cool classic Thunderbird that he used to drive around. I am absolutely crushed by the news of his passing. May his soul Rest In Peace. Jeffrey Spears

To the Halligan Family,

I knew Chris for about 15 years. To say that he was the most effective landlord-tenant lawyer I ever met would be a gross understatement. He and I won every case we worked on together. Over the years (including most recently on May 14th of this year), he was the first lawyer I’d call if one of my clients had an L&T issue.

More than that, Chris was a great guy. I’m stunned that I hadn’t heard about his passing until today, when I attempted...

I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of Chris - the co-op I live in was a long-time client of his and he never failed to give expert, practical advice on a range of topics, always with both tenacity and good humor. He will be sorely missed by me and, I'm sure, all who knew him.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

You will be remembered for your integrity, wit, sense of humor and your passion to win! May your sons be blessed and May you loved ones find peace in knowing you have returned to the house of God. We will miss you always! Claudia Elena Mantia
