Not sure what to say?

Chris and our musical productions got me through law school, and left an indelible memory. Although we never succeeded in following up with other shows after that time, Chris's brilliant lyrics remain as a monument to him, for everyone who has heard them.

Chris, our mutual friend Donna, and I shared many meals from Naples Pizza during the 1970 school year at Yale, his senior year. Not only did he distinguish himself as an exceptional person, his friendship was extraordinary, expansive, and engaging. The light of his presence was unwavering and pure. I shall miss him unfathomably.

I just learned of Chris's passing. He was passionate about the men's movement which I attended the biannual gathering for many years which benefited many people.

I am very sad to learn of Chris's death. I first met him in 1972, in my first year at Harvard Law School, when Chris was in graduate school. We worked on four Law School Shows together, and a couple of Harvard College productions. Chris was a brilliant lyricist - I still find myself reciting some of his lyrics, more than 40 years later. Examples: (1) From a "patter song" about Ralph Nader (music by Richard Hope) titled "Ralph Raider, Chief Crusader" - "For meddling noted / and prying...

I just now read of Chris' passing. I am struck by his loss to our community. He was a man dedicated to learning and to connecting people to services and to each other. I will miss him, and offer my deepest condolences to his family and friends. - Andrea Kunst

I had the privilege of being an OLLI student in Prof Harding's classes. I had been encouraged to take his classes by a friend who was in her 7th year of being Prof Harding's student. He opened my eyes and ears to Shakespeare as well as using different and sometimes "barely noticed" films to help us look beyond the script. I will treasure the times I was lucky enough to be in the wonder of a truly gifted teacher.

Prof Harding, may I ask you to smile upon all of us whose lives you...

My deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Chris Harding.
I know Chris from his strong leadership of the Massachusetts Men's Gathering which I have attended faithfully since 2001. The MMG experience changed my life, and I am a better, happier man for what Chris and MMG has given me. Chris made sure each new man was welcomed and respected for who and what he is. His energy, determination and enthusiasm for getting things just right at each Gathering was inspiring.
I will...

Chris has a big spirit and had a big body. I worked side by side with him on the MMG organizing committee for many years. I'll always remember his bubbling chuckle and smile every time I greeted him with a hug as my 'little buddy.' Keep on truckin', Chris. None of us are far behind....

I offer a Hai-Kule of this moment:

My 'little buddy'
Held me in his loving arms
and let me cry.

My condolences to Chris's family, and thanks to his parents and family for any...

Chris touched the lives of hundreds of OLLI students with his knowledge, grace, and humor. His love of Mystery, History, Shakespeare, and the Arts will be immortalized through many of his archived lectures at https://www.umb.edu/olli/about/lectures

He will be remembered fondly.
