Not sure what to say?

It´s been 20 years and each year I get a email reminding me of your transition. We met and dated here in Virginia when you were stationed here. We shared that Leo bond and you were such a funny dude who loved his brother dearly. I know your family misses you so much . Keep resting Chris

Wow... it´s been 18 years since you left. I remember when I met you at a night club here in Virginia and we become friends my Leo buddy. I remember you told me you was going home for your birthday. I didn´t know you wasn´t going to return. R.I.P " Chris ...

I was without words to here of the lost of my friend Chris Hodge, but I remember the first conversation I had with him on the (Roosevelt) about the lost of my youngest brother, I was amazed of the maturity, intelligence and words of encouragement of that at the time of a 21 year old. You see that day Chris became my little brother and that is what I called him. I would be selfish to say I wish he was here physically, because he is in a better place living for eternity, I just ask that you...

My thoughts and prayers go out to the Hodge family. I heard about this tragedy on the news and also read about it in the paper. For some reason it just stuck with me. I later found out that this was Wayne's son. I've known Wayne since his Woodland Rec days and now Fairfax. Continue to pray and be strong. God will see you through! Sorry I didnt make the service. I didnt find out till the afternoon of the service. I was at another funeral that day. I'll see you at Fax Wayne. Much love to you...

To the Hodge family, I will pray for you in your time of sorrow. Chris touched my life during my time on the Roosevelt. We would joke alot and at times talk about our hometowns. He will truely be missed by those who had a chance to meet him. He always displayed a smile no matter what the situation. May GOD keep you and your family but just know he is in a higher place smiling down on us!

GOD BLESS YOU ALL!

To the Hodge family, Chris was a really good friend and i know that he is in a better place. he had a good heart and would always be there to put a smile on your face when you was down. my deepest sympathies come out the your family.

To the Hodge Family:
I really don't know where to begin, there are so many things I'd like to say to make things a little easier to bare. And yet, I'm still at a loss for words. Please except my condolences and know that your entire family is in me and my family's prayers. Chris is in a better place now and is looking down at us with a smile!

To the Hodge Family,

My deepest condolences reach out to you about your lost of a wonderful young man that was well known throughout the Navy Community (USS Roosevelt). He will surely be missed but I know that he is in a much better place and is at peace.
With Love and joy
Kevin "Hambone" Hamilton

I'm not too good with words, but Chris was someone I enjoyed getting to know on the Roosevelt. It was a shock to hear of his sudden passing and is still a shock to know that he is gone. He was funny, energetic, and so full of life.
My prayers go out to his family. I am truly sorry for your loss.
Sincerely
Nerissa Adams
