Christopher Bryant Hudson

Christopher Hudson Christopher Bryant Hudson, 33, of Fairmont passed away Thursday April 28, 2011 at his home. He was born in Fairmont on August 26, 1977, son of the late Frank Austin Hudson and Sharon Sue (Wilson) Hudson of Fairmont. Chris was a 1995 graduate of Fairmont Senior High School. He was also a graduate of Marine Mechanic Institute MMI in Florida and was awarded second best Mechanic in the Florida Coast. He was a multi-talented young man. He lived six years in Ft Myers, Florida. He loved racing boats, placing third for the World Cup as Crew Chief on the Holiday Inn Racing Team. He also enjoyed his friends on facebook. He was currently employed by the Marion County Board of Education as a Plumber. After he returned from Florida, he worked a year at Bills Marine Service in Deep Creek Maryland and later for University Motors in Morgantown as Master Technician. He had also worked as a mechanic for Urse Dodge in Fairmont. In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sisters, Susan Raymond and her husband Robert, Monica Potts and her husband Gregory, and LuCinda Kovack and her husband Michael all of Fairmont, and special nieces and nephews, Sydney Raymond, Emma Raymond, Garrett Potts, Geoffrey Austin Potts, Austin Kovack, and Aaron Kovack. Family and friends may call at the Carpenter and Ford Funeral Home, 209 Merchant St., Fairmont on Sunday from 1-8pm. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday May 2, 2011 at 10am with Evangelist Kevin Lough officiating. Interment will be private at Cunningham Memorial Park in St. Albans, WV.
