Not sure what to say?

Offering our sincere condolences. May the God of love comfort your heart and make you firm in your time of grief. 2 Thessalonians 2:16,17.

Mr. Hughes was my history teacher at BLA - and he was a truly wonderful teacher. He effortlessly brought to life ancient civilizations like Mesopotamia and Syro Phoenicia (he's why I remember these to this day!). He had a gentle but firm & authoritative command of the classroom, which helped keep the focus on learning. In short, he was an excellent teacher who left an indelible impression on me, as his student. He will be missed. Praying God's peace and comfort for his family.

Descansa en paz, Cristóbal. I remember you well even though we were not buddies.
Sr. Roma.

Mr. Hughes was our teacher in 8th grade and again in 9th - probably why I became a history major. He was a gentleman devoted to his students through turbulent times. Rest in peace.
