Not sure what to say?

Dear Chris- So many challenging events have impacted the lives of those of us whom you left behind in 2020: a pandemic, climate change crises, wars, migrations, the rise of totalitarianism in our country. We wonder what you would think of these things, how you would react. You live in our memories. Rest in power. French and Ruth

Chris, recalling our time together with you and Signe in Viet Nam brings us joy. We have made a donation to Project RENEW in your memory and in honor of its twenty-one years of life-saving interventions in Quang Tri Province. Rest in Peace, dear Friend. French and Ruth

Gone too soon. Photo doesn't show his warmth & humor. We are better for having been with him. May God comfort his loved ones.

Signe' & Ann...how would one know that playing French Horn's together would lead to this day...CJ is & has always been on my mind & soul.... regretfully the last few years he and I drifted apart ...I think partly due to our NAM experiences...my thoughts and PRAYERS go out to you both.... CH

Signe, Amy, Emily and Ann I can't pretend to know how much you must be missing your loving husband, father and brother. I know that I still feel the great loss from his passing. He is unforgettable for me. I pray that you are all in a good place as I am sure Chris is at peace and pain free. Knowing Chris, he must be watching over you all. Blessings to you all with love and peace.

Today we think of Chris, have a silent moment in Fjällbacka, Sweden, where Chris´es mother in law grew up. Annelie, Peter, Isabelle Hallgren

I have found memories of traveling with Chris and Signe during the Veterans for Peace tour in Viet Nam in 2013. I was saddened to hear of his passing, and offer my condolences to his family.

We have fond, enduring memories of the time we spent with Chris and Signe during our 2013 VFP Peace and Reconciliation tour of Viet Nam. We are sad to learn of this wonderful man's death, and we offer our condolences to Signe, his daughters, his sister and all his friends.

Chris, (Christopher), was a person my wife Billie, and I, got to know very well as the husband of a wonderful co-worker, his wife, Signe. We considered both Chris and Signe as good friends, frequently meeting them at restaurants. Chris was just so much fun to talk with - he always had insight on the things that were important to us. Billie and I will always remember Chris a kind and loving person. We will miss him. Al and Billie Wolf
