Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry about Chris. I was a childhood friend of his. We went to Oak Knoll School together. I sometimes think about fun times that I had with Chris and our other friend from Oak Knoll, Bobby Kelly. I was actually just thinking about Chris the other day wondering where he is. The last time I saw Chris was at his parents' house in Summit. Chris had been in St. Mary's hospital having a knee operation, I think, and my dad, Dr. Joe Lutz saw him and suggested that I catch up with him. It was...

My prayers are with the Joffe family. I have nothing but wonderful, laughter-filled memories of Chris. He made my high school/college years so much happier than they would have been without him.

I am so shocked and saddened to hear about Chris. He was a larger than life personality and he always brought smiles and laughs with him. I haven't seen Chris in almost 30 years but always hoped we would run into each other here in Summit. He was such a sweet, fun friend. My thoughts and prayers are with the Joffe family. I will always remember Chris with love and fond
memories. I know he will be greatly missed. Sincerely, Lin Hickox Sigler

To all the Joffe's, I will always be one of the biggest fans that Matt and Chris ever had. Last year while visiting Chatham I ran into Chris at the Huntley Tavern and sat and had dinner and tons of laughs with him. We talked about all the old times on Essex, Club Ed, big Al, my brother Christopher, me and Matt, poor Missy and all she endured with all the brothers and their friends and then of course Mickey!! I was looking forward to seeing him again soon and was devasted by the news! We...

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Joffe family in this time of great sorrow at the loss of Chris. I know our memories of all the laughter, wiscracking, and a life too short but fully lived will bring some comfort. I will miss him but he was called home...maybe they needed his light more. Goodbye Chris.
