Not sure what to say?

He was new to the Army then and it was good see him starting out as a new aviator in the OH-58D. I was the Squadron Executive Officer and senior aviator and Chris was given the mission to help prepare a farewell for the Squadron Commander who was a tanker and not an aviator. Chris help put together a video for the SCO's farewell ceremony but somehow managed to leave...

Father we entrust our brother Christopher to your mercy. You loved him greatly in this life: now that he is freed from all its cares, give him happiness and peace forever. Welcome him now into paradise where there will be no more sorrow, no more weeping or pain, but only peace and joy with Jesus your Son, and the Holy Spirit forever and ever.
May God hold Christopher in the palm of His hand. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. My deepest sympathies.

In Memory of Christopher ~ (Debra Estep)

Holding you all in my thoughts and prayers.

The Wind on The Downs

“I like to think of you as brown and tall,
As strong and living as you used to be,
In khaki tunic, Sam Brown belt and all,
And standing there and laughing down at me.
Because they tell me, dear, that you are dead,
Because I can no longer see your face,
You have not died, it is not true, instead
You seek adventure in some other place.
That you are round about me, I believe;
I hear you...

You are remembered and respected. Thank you Capt Johnson!

My sincere thanks goes out to the Johnson family. Your son truly was a shining light.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
