Not sure what to say?

I just heard the news today from the Duncanville Today Newspaper. I was in total shock. Chris and I have been friends since our 9th grade Lasers class together, and on to our Senior year when we were "husband and wife" for our Govt marriage project. He just called me a couple months ago to talk and let me know how he was doing, I am so sad knowing that I won't get a call from him in the next couple months. He was such a sweet and caring guy. I wanted his family to know how sorry I am for your...

I've seen fires that smolder and dwindle!
I've seen fires that rage out of control and cause suffering!
But every now and then, I see one that puts off a bright, bright glow that mesmorizes me and does only good! That is what I saw in Chris! Mike Ryan-EMS Coordinator, Navarro College

I have the privilege to know Chris Jolly. I am deeply sadened for his loss and I know that he will be missed. He was an awesome young man and my prayers are with his family.

My daughter Amanda & Chris dated a few years back when he lived in Seagoville and my daughter went to Seagoville High School. He was such a sweet kid and I am so very sorry for your loss. I thought about Chris often over the years because he was such a joy to be around. Please accept our heartfelt condolences.

Chris was a Student on mine at Navarro College Fire Academy. I enjoyed his positive attitude and his devotion to the fire service. My last time to see him was when we both were doing what we loved, fighting fire. I hope the following poem by Chief Harry Carter retired from the Newark Fire Department in New Jersey will be of some comfort to the family:

I Am With You

To our loving cousin who will be deeply missed. When we see the brighest star we will always remember.
