Days are more grey without him in the world and I wish he were still here. There is still music and good food in the world, but the tune is a little flat, and the taste a little dull. Chris was faithful to his calling to music and didn't miss a beat. His presence and talent will be sorely missed on this earth. I am praying for all of his closest family and friends to find comfort during this time. I was honored to sing in his bands and to hand off to his soloistic prowess. I remember Chris when he was in school, in Hartford. Chris' musical ability was extremely evident, then. My condolences to his family and those he touched.

I had known Chris for the last 13 years. His humor and talent are the two strongest traits in my memory. He was also very generous with both of these things for kids, schools, and community. I will miss seeing him every fall during marching band season and every spring at various Jazz events. God bless you Chris.
