KENNETT, Christopher Michael ? Of Grand Blanc, age 41, died Saturday, August 29, 2015 at McLaren-Flint.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Steve Anderson officiating.
Cremation will take place following the Mass.
Those desiring may make contributions to the family.
Visitation 4-8 p.m. Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225
West Hill Road.
A Knights of Columbus service by Council # 10170 will be prayed at 6:30 p.m. Friday with Rosary will be prayed Friday at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Chris was born in Flint, Michigan on December 6, 1973 and was a resident of Grand Blanc all of his life.
On April 26, 2014 he married Kathleen Tucker.
He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus #10170 and the Men?s Club & Outreach at Holy Redeemer.
Surviving are wife, Kathleen;
daughter, Madison;
step-children, Tristan, Sean and Rebecca;
mother, Linda Kennett;
sister, Jessica LaFaner;
brother, Greg Kennett;
lots of family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald and his grandparents.
Chris impacted a lot of peoples lives.. Very smart man! Chris, Marc, n BJ were unseparable back in the day.. There was always adventure when it came to them boys!!
Seems like he was taken away way too early!! Theres so many things left unsaid!! From many!! Just hope that he knows that no matter what.. Arguments and all, we all loved him dearly.. RIH Chris Kennett!!

I only knew Chris for a short time but I feel blessed to have had him in my life. We first met one early morning in the Family Life Center at Holy Redeemer Church. We were there to help out with a pancake breakfast that was being put on by the Out Reach group. We were having issues with the grill, we couldn't get the burners lit. Both Mike Brown and Chris were trying everything to light the burner but nothing was working. Mike and I started to make the pancakes in some small frying pans...
