Christopher Wayne Kitchen, 53, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 16, 2024, in Picayune, Mississippi, after a lengthy illness.
Chris was born October 22, 1970, in New Orleans, Louisiana, and was a longtime resident of Slidell. He graduated from Northshore High School and was a U.S. Army Veteran.
Chris leaves behind his loving wife of 20 years, Casey Neight Kitchen; his children, daughter, Caitlynn Neight and fiancé Cade Evans, and sons, Michael L. Kitchen, Camryn Kitchen, and Chayce Kitchen. He is also survived by his parents, Michael Kitchen and Marilyn Trosclair Kitchen, his brother and sister-in-law, Richard Kitchen and Erica Kitchen; niece, Alexis Kitchen; his mother and father-in-law, Charlesray and Cathy Neight and brother-in-law, Cody Neight. He will also be sadly missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Memorial Service with military honors will be held at the Slidell Elks Lodge – 34212 Elks Road, Slidell, LA on Thursday, July 11, 2024, at 1:00pm.
A private burial to be held at a later date.
