Not sure what to say?

We cherish time spent with Chris and Bev and offer our saddest condolences. Chris is greatly missed by friends, family, musicians, and fans.

I'm from Cambria County but I didn't meet Chris until I went to LA in 1991 and showed up at Westwood One for an interview. Someone said, "Who's from Johnstown?" It was Chris.

I got to know him better after I moved back to this area in 1998. He was a sweet and cordial guy; very gentle in his demeanor.

I'll miss him.

Cindy
I was so very sorry to learn of your brother's passing. He always had a kind smile when ever I would run into him. His smile was warm and comforting. I loved to hear him play. His memory will stay alive in the music he played. My thoughts are with you as you must be so very sad.

Chris Klym worked with Denny Regan and John Michaud and probably a few other Johnstownians at The Westwood One Radio Network in Culver City, Ca., in the 1980's and so did I. I remember that they were a very, very tight crew, working hard and supporting each other always. They were very funny and talented, but Chris was by far the most level-headed of the bunch. He let me sleep on his floor a time or two when I had to stay overnight in the city and skip the long-distance commute I was doing...

Sweet Chris, I am so sorry to hear about his death, but as I reflect I see him smiling, laughing and being such a beautiful person. I can still hear him laugh. Remembering being a groupie in the ol days with the egg carton studio! My deepest sympathy to all who knew Chris. The last time I saw him was a great time, he saw Red and I at Coney Island and invited us up to see him and Bev! What a treat for us all, to see his beautiful smile again and even let my son play his drums! Thanks...

From Francine, Keith and Duncan:
We're sorry about the loss of a phenomenal musician who will be greatly and sadly missed. Sorry to hear of Chris' passing.

I met Chris through Mike and Mark. I loved seeing those guys play (Desperadoes). Chris was always so happy to see you. I have many happy memories of him. I wish him and his family nothing but peace.

A sad loss for a little girl who watched smik, with huge eyes from the basement stairway and marveled @ his talent and kindness. He grew into an amazing talent and then a great friend. You will always be remembered and your memories, cherished. Peace out, brother!

Chris (and friends) brought The Hotel Stardust alive with music once again a few years ago. We will never forget him or his talent. We were all very sad to hear of his passing.
