Not sure what to say?

I knew Chris for over 30 years at EYC. He was our Commodore and Board chairman during a pivotal time of our history in the early 80's He is one of the men credited with devising our current legislative system at EYC. He campaigned Thistles and then his Tartan 10 "10 Knots" (get it?) for many years including at least one Mac. He was a kind, low key and gentle man.

But Perhaps his most lasting sailing legacy was hitting a submerged rock inside the break wall dur\ring Clevelnd Race...

I had not seen Chris for many years; but, remember him from our childhood years when our mothers (sisters), and their families, used to gather at the old home place near Garrett, IN. I really wish I could have known him in his later years. I am deeply saddened about his passing. My condolences to his sister Sylvia Yee, his wife and family. Barbara Engle (cousin)
