I always enjoyed debating local politics with Chris and diving into the more obscure facts of Atlanta history and Grady Hospital history, as we both shared a deep love for Atlanta. So sad to see Chris gone too young for someone with such a vibrant spirit.

Chris was a delight. Always cheerful, quick-witted, well-informed and unusually compassionate and empathetic. He was, during the 1970's, a welcomed guest in my Decatur home. I loved the conversations and marveled at his insights and love of humanity.

I knew Chris by working with him in archaeology years ago. He was smart, witty, funny, and a good person. I always enjoyed seeing and talking with him. My deepest condolences to his loved ones, I know he will be deeply missed.
