Christopher Scott Laing, age 48, of Schaumburg. Beloved lifetime partner of Mary Zirlin and loving father to Jake Zirlin. Devoted son of Sharon & Michael Laing. Amazing brother of Michael Laing, Lori (Rob) Perez and Amy Zick (Dan Whalen). Dear uncle to Godson, Michael and Abigail, Madeline, Brandon, Justin & Alexis. Chris was a gentle giant, wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend.
Chris was a salesman for US Waterproofing (he could sell the stripes off of a Zebra). Chris was a hardcore Chicago sports fan. His love for the Blackhawks, Bears and local football & hockey teams was heard across the state. Everyone loved Chris except for a few Refs and Packer fans. Chris lived his life to help others and always put himself last. Chris’ love has no expiration date.
A memorial visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of services at 5:00 PM at Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 330 W. Golf Road, Schaumburg.
