Not sure what to say?

Hi everyone who ever knew and/or LOVED CHIRSTOPHER LA VALLEE,

This is HELEN BECHTOLD writing (Chris' Mother-In-Law) just to say that today (Friday, Nov. 9th, 2007) it has been 3 weeks since Chris left ALL OF US. I know he was in NYC when this happened, but I also feel so very deeply that he left ALL OF US no matter where, when, or WHAT we were doing at THAT PRECISE MOMENT.

A short period of time has transpired since that LOSS, but HIS PRESENCE will be missed for an ENTERNAL...

To the whole entire family:

I am so sorry for your loss. I never had the privilege to meet Chris, but heard so many wonderful things about him, what he taught his family, and what he taught each one of us. You are all in our hearts and prayers.

Dear Ed and Faye and family-
I was not able to be with you at the service but on October 22 I lit a candle for Chris and his family in Notre Dame Cathedral. Richard and I send our prayers.

I was blessed in ways I will never understand to have been so close to Chris for nearly three decades and his wonderful wife Barbara for half that time. Along with my brother and Jono, we saw Chris frequently in his last weeks. He never lost his sense of dignity, humor, love or courage. His courage was astounding, as is that of Barbara, Faye and Eddie.

Chris will be missed, but always with us.

Rick

Last night my wife and I were fortunate enough to have dinner with my parents. My mother who sings in the St. Teresa’s choir told us how she sang at a beautiful service for an outstanding young man earlier that day. She said “You would not believe how packed the church was and all the men in black suits to honor this young man who had accomplished so much in his life.” She went on to say how his sister called her brother the bravest person she knew. I asked my Mom “What was his name?” she...

Dear Barbara & Family.

With deepest sympathy,

Dear Barbara, Andrew, Eddie, Faye, Lisa, Uncle Ray, and Auntie Marge,

We are truely sorry to hear of Chris' passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

Sincerely,
Kim (Scotford) and Ron Weeden & family
