Not sure what to say?

Still hard to believe you are gone even after all these years. Wish you were here but I know you are in a better place. Miss you friend!

Years ago, Chris was my cubbie and we always had a good time together. Those are some of my fondest memories of Chris. He introduced the Greensboro Poww Wow to my family and I and we loved it! I think about Chris often and the many expressions of kindness he gifted to us all. Kindness... something we all can give; something we all need right now.

Almost 2 years... life can be altered in an instant and will never be the same again once the family circle is broken. Love and prayers. Your cousin Sherry

I will forever remember Chris. He was a dear, loveable friend that I worked with. I know God has him in his kingdom. I love you Chris.

I worked with Chris at BofA for 5 years. He was such a gentle soul and a great person. I am in shock to have learned anout this tragedy. RIP Chris

When I received the call about Chris I was in disbelief as this could not have happened to my cousin/ friend. The mold was broken when Chris was born as he was one of a kind to all that had the pleasure of getting to know even a small portion of what he was about. His wonderful compassion for this family, friends and his heritage was what made him the love he was. If you had the time to talk Chris was your man as he loved to just meet people and allow you to know the love he had for his...

I had the honor of knowing and working with Chris the past 6 years in the Credit Reporting Dept at Bank of America. He was one of the most kind, gentle souls I have ever known...I think of him often since his passing. I sure do miss seeing his smiling face everyday, but I find peace in knowing that Chris is resting in the arms of our Lord now. Peace be with the Locklear family and all Chris's friends.

Chris was a very special person that never forgot where he came from. He loved his family, his friends and his tribe. He never judged and was always there to listen. Whenever you needed him he was there. If it meant driving from Greensboro to Raleigh he was only a phone call away. I was the lucky one to be able to call him a friend of over 30 years. His death has left an ache in my heart. I will forever miss my friend and his kind soul and that smile. Sending prayers to help comfort his...

God has you wrapped in his arms. I will always remember my BOA friend. You'll always be in my heart. Prayers and Peace be with the family.
