Christopher Lowery, 46, of Monroe, NC died Wednesday, September 13, 2012 at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. He was born in Newport, RI on October 10, 1965. He was the son of Dawn and Snyder Griffin of Monroe, and Robert Lowery of Wilmington, NC. He is survived by his parents Dawn and Snyder Griffin and Robert Lowery, three daughters Tiffany Lowery and Heather Ramos (Raul) of Charlotte, and Kristen Lowery of Monroe, grand-daughter Karidee and grandson Raul Ramos both of Charlotte, brother John Lowery (Jennette), Niece Jayla, two step sisters Susan Myers (Matt) and Vonnie Guy (Paul), niece Amber Guy, and step brother Steve Griffin (Cathy) all of Monroe, NC. Christopher loved life and people. He was a wonderful and loving son, and father. He loved all his friends at the Kindred Transitional Care and Rehab Center of Monroe where he was a resident for four years. Christopher was employed by Godfrey Construction before his accident in 2007. A memorial service will be held 5:00 PM on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Mineral Springs United Methodist Church 5915 Old Waxhaw-Monroe Road, Monroe NC 28112. I am sorry to hear of Chris' passing. We went to high school together and I thought alot of Chris. Prayers being sent up for his family and friends.

Christopher was truly a great man, I will miss him very much and will always hold him in my heart.

I am so sorry to hear of Chris' passing. Though I hadn't seen him since high school, I remember his generosity and friendliness. I'm sure he always exhibited these traits in all his endeavors. You're all in my thoughts and prayers.
