I was at my doctor's office yesterday (August 16, 2017) and as always I asked the nurse had she heard from Dr. Maret. This particular doctor's office is the former practice of Dr. Maret. The nurse told me of his passing and I was very saddened. Dr. Maret was my primary care physician for over 15 years and was an awesome doctor and friend. The office number has not changed and I still have his name in my phone. My deepest condolences to his family and all who loved him. Heaven definitely...

Hi my name is Larry Hardin, dr. Merritt was my my doctor at one time, and a good one I might add. I just learned of this passing, with great sorrow, I am so so sorry. He will be greatly missed by me. My deepest respect and sympathy, to the family. With all my heart Larry.

I am deeply saddened to hear the news about Dr.Maret. Best doctor I have ever had! He was our family physician for over 12 years and went out of his way to make sure that we were all doing well. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I pray that you get the strength to get through this difficult time. Dr.Maret will be missed by many in St.Louis!

Dr Maret literally saved my life and inspired me to live a healthy lifestyle. He was without a doubt the the best doctor I ever had. He was so thorough and thoughtful. I was so honored to have had him as my internist. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Heaven better have their running shoes on to keep up with Doc.

Kathy, I am so sorry to hear of your loss -- I just found out today of Dr. Maret's passing. He was the BEST doctor I ever had. After being a patient of his for 26 years, I was so surprised when he decided to close his practice. He was so caring, taking time to listen, as well as professional. I just cannot say enough. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
