Christopher Allen Martin

I met Christopher in 2007, when I began to attend Kairos-Milwaukie UCC. He brought great dignity to his duties as acolyte, along with a pinch of mischief made manifest by his brief drum solo during the final moments of the service. I always listened for the rhythm of his drumming, which was subtly varied and always seemed joyful. How we will miss him!

It was a real privilege to work with Chris for many years. He was fun to be around. I'm sorry he is gone.

I so enjoyed him at church service, always a bright smile on his face. He always ended up with a beat on the old drum which brought a smile to so many people.

I knew Chris and his parents from the time I was a young girl. He was always so friendly and fun to be around. He and my sister Barbara went to school together and also worked together for many years. I saw Chris often at functions - dinners, dances and parties. The world was very lucky to have him. He spread joy everywhere he went. My sister also passed this year in July. They can now dance in paradise. Rest in peace with God, dear Chris.

my younger brother ~ interesting person with a unique perspective on the world & intuative apriciation of people ~ i can't find words to discribe Chris ? my brother Doug said it well in the obituary ~ chris is still very present in the many stories i can tell of him when talking about him in person , not as easy for me in writing ~ thanks to Doug for the obit , pictures ,numerous things& helping Chris have a full & exciting life ~~ laura
