Dear Mr Martinez, I saw you recently in my restaurant and only recognized you from the deep profound grief and pain I saw in your face. It broke my heart and my daughter and I knew immediately it was you. Words cannot express the sorrow we feel for your loss. How tragic that our children are not safe even in the safest of places. We admire your strength in your speaking out for stricter gun laws during what must be the most difficult time in your life.

We can't believe he is gone, and Christopher will always be in our hearts. His smile and calm disposition are unforgettable. Zachary and Lauren have fond memories of Chris "wrecking" Zach in basketball in our driveway.

We feel so fortunate that we spent a little time with Christopher. Our hearts are broken for all of you.

My deepest condolences for the loss of your wonderful son. I'm an international student from Spain finishing my BA in English in the USA. I just want to say thank you for being honest with your words and feelings. No one should critize a father for showing his feelings after such a horrible tragedy. It's understandable, and expected, in any other culture in this world! Keep strong and Not One More!
