Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. McCandless, Leslie, and Leigh: I went to Male with Chris and played soccer with him for some years. He was always one of my favorites. I remember Mr. McCandless and Chris at many games. The last time I remember seeing him was back in the 80's at UofL. He always seemed to have that same smile and great attitude. I am very sorry to find out of his passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear McCandless Family - I was very close to Chris throughout our Sophmore and Junior years at Male. We all played kick ball in your yard almost every day. I lost touch with Chris post high school, but truly thought of him from time to time (as recently as two months ago with intentions to try and find out if he was still in Louisville). My heart goes out to all of you. I am in complete shock and so very saddened. It was by chance that I found out about this today while visiting with another...

I knew Chris since he was a fun kid in Fayetteville, NY.. I was best friends with his Dad, Larry. His Dad was so very proud of him as was I.. and I'm very fortunate to know the entire Family McCandless though I've been a bit of a no-show these last many years (I haven't met Jack yet). All my love to you Cora, Leigh and Leslie and to your wonderful families. Bruce Wilson, formerly of Syracuse, NY (sorry I couldn't be with y'all at Flanagan's today)

I miss you, Scoobs.

Mrs. McCandless,
You may not remember me but I graduated in 1983 with Chris and I was your office (pest) assistant during my Junior or Senior year. My heart and prayers go out to you and your family. May God be with you and give you strength.

Chris and his great friend Barb. We Love You

Chris and I were friends in college and beyond. Although, we had lost touch with each other over the last few years, he was a truly good friend who always made me smile. My heart goes out to the family and you will be in my thoughts and prayers.
