My roommate at U of Arizona---class of 82. Loved Chris's laugh and spirit. He was good at almost everything sports and more. He once almost knocked me over with a fastball when I decided to play catcher for him. I last saw Chris in NY at the Belmont Racetrack with his kids, brother, and friends in 2011. I grew up with Chris. He was a wonderful person. He was kind, fun and a great basketball player. I know he must have been a wonderful husband and father. Chris was a long time volunteer softball coach and umpire in the West Side Little League where his wonderful daughters Samantha and Chloe, now adults, played for so many years. Chris was a dedicated volunteer known for his commitment, fairness and kindness to players--- and for his dry sense of humor.
