I was devastated to hear this news today. I worked closely with Chris when he was at Covington, and we spent a lot of time together during a trial in Iowa for John Deere. Chris was a great lawyer, and was a delight to work with. One night after trial he sat down at a piano in the hotel and played it like no one I have ever heard. Rest in peace, Chris. You will be missed.

Dear Charles and Carolyn,I was so sad to see Chris' name in the paper. I remember when he was nine years old and always helped me pick up his science projects off the floor so I could clean. He was very sweet. I am so sorry about your loss.

Almost 20 years ago, Christopher and I volunteered together at St. Joseph's VBS leading the music. He was a respectful, polite, and hard working young man, and a joy to work with! And, an absolute genius at the piano! I loved when he and his mom would play and sing at Masses together. I am saddened by this news, and am so very sorry for your loss! May Jesus wrap His loving arms around all of you at this difficult time.

Chris was in my Church Hstory class his sophomore year at Bishop Kenny. He was so eager to learn. He also challenged any test question I marked wrong. More often than not, he convinced me his answer should be given credit. I was not surprised to learn he became an attorney. His musical expertise was incredible. People still talk about the processional he composed and played at the dedication of St. Anastasia Parish. Chris was so much more than one of the best students and musicians I have...

Chris was initially my client in the early 2000s and over the years he became my friend. I was very proud of him for going to law school and I respected his intellect. He was brilliant, and I am saddened by his passing. My sincere condolences to his family.
