I'm saddened hearing of kits passing. My condolences to Susan and the children. I met kit in 1990 when I first came down to Charleston I worked on a few of his downtown projects as a carpenter. The first memory I have with him personally was I put my circular saw down with the guard up and it zinged across the floor and he started screaming at me telling me it was antique heard pine and irreplaceable.
